La Pampa is among the provinces most accessible to the internet, cell phones and PC in the country.
The company Aguas del Colorado SAPEM was created by the Government of La Pampa in 2006. Its main duty is to carry water for human and animal consumption through more than 900 km of aqueducts located along the territory of the Province. The company has a strong commitment with the productive development of La Pampa, and promotes the rational use of water.

(Pampean Telecommunications Company)
This company created in 2019, which has a majority of state participation, is in charge of the
exploitation, marketing, provision and promotion of telecommunication services in the
Province of La Pampa. It works together with cooperative corporations, cable companies and
small local internet providers.
Empatel manages the Province’s system of 1,950 km of optical fiber and 1,200 km of radio
links, which reaches 95% of the towns and cities and covers the whole of the territory of the
Province, from east to west and from south to north. Those areas with optical fiber have
1Gbps, 10Gbps and 50Gbps (DWDM), depending on the population density of each region.
High-capacity radio links provide broadband internet connections between 200 and 900
Mbps.
Due to the extension of the network, the main nodes function in an automated way, not only
as regards the provision of alternative energy (power-generating sets) but also regarding
cooling systems, UPSs and security.
