Beekeeping plays an important role within the productive structure. In 2017, La Pampa’s honey production accounted for 10.5% of the national production. This sector has 52 extraction rooms located in the different departments of the Province. In 2017, the total production reached 3,800 tons.

Honey production in La Pampa increased 40% in the last years. The export of honey grew up to 2,600 tons. The main destination is Germany.
