Tourism is an important sector with potential in several specific areas. Having the experience of staying in one of our farms lets visitors be near the traditions of our Province. Rural properties are located in different parts of the Province, and their landscape and facilities offer tourists the possibility of connecting with La Pampa’s nature.

Health tourism profits from different medical thermal and mining sources and byproducts. The Province of La Pampa has two thermal centers which offer several therapeutic treatments. Besides, adventure travel offers wild environments and close connection with nature.

Finally, hunting is a remarkable activity here and brings a lot of foreign hunters to the Province. There are 36 authorized game preserves (2019) which have a sport hunting calendar and limits set for each of the hunters. According to the numbers provided by the Natural Resources Office belonging to the Ministry or Production of La Pampa, 42% of the hunted animals are wild pigs and 21% are red deer. Armadillos, pumas, foxes, viscachas, hares and pigeons are also hunted, but in less quantity.

Those farms and lands which want to welcome hunters must be enrolled as registered farms. In 2019 there were 385 registered farms.
