Strategic Plan of Energy:
Con la firme convicción de alcanzar la autarquía energética se promueven, a través del Plan Estratégico de Energía, políticas para fortalecer empresas públicas y privadas en funcionamiento e impulsar la creación y radicación de inversores en todo el territorio pampeano dedicados a la generación de energía, revalorizando los recursos regionales: vientos, sol, biomasa, residuos orgánicos, recursos hídricos, petróleo y gas.
El Estado Provincial junto a Pampetrol , las cooperativas, los municipios, el Banco de La Pampa, la Universidad Nacional de La Pampa y el sector privado trabajan en conjunto para diseñar proyectos energéticos estratégicos, inclusivos y competitivos. Estudios en curso para la Generación de Energía con recursos pampeanos: – Generación fotovoltaica en zonas de punta de línea como Algarrobo del Águila, Victorica, Intendente Alvear y Caleufú. – Generación fotovoltaica y térmica con gas en General Pico, Polo Energético. – Generación térmica con gas en La Adela – Generación eólica en Gral Pico, Parque Industrial – Generación con biomasa forestal en la zona de Victorica, Carro Quemado y Telén. – Generación con biomasa de residuos no reciclables en Anguil. – Generación micro hidráulica y fotovoltaica en Colonia 25 de Mayo. – Generación de Biogás y fotovoltaica en Macachín.
The State company Pampetro SAPEM is the strategic ally for those investors interested in the generation of energy in the province. Its protagonic role in the Strategic Plan of Energy turns it into the transverse core for all investment in energetic matter in the province.

Communications
Aguas del Colorado SAPEM, created by the Government of the province of La Pampa in the year 2006, it’s in charge of the distribution of water for human and animal consumption through more than 900 kilometers of aqueducts located everywhere in the territory. Its telecommunications area provides connection to towns by means of an optical fiber network extended for more than 1800 kilometers. It reaches 44 towns in the province and it provides coverage for over 90% of the Pampean population.
ADC implements the Pampean Internet by which the towns’ inhabitants can have Internet access.
Pampeana Telecommunications Company (EMPATEL SAPEM)
Created in 2019, it is a company with majority state participation, destined to the exploitation, commercialization, provision and promotion of telecommunications services in those towns of the province of La Pampa where they are not provided by service cooperatives in which EMPATEL SAPEM case will promote the benefit by cooperative in the “last mile”.
Aguas del Colorado, cooperatives for public works and services in the province that want to join, and small and medium-sized companies that provide cable television services, internet, and other related services have participation in the Company.
Technological industry
Technological terminal
The Technological Terminal articulates the public, private, scientist-technological fields in strategic subjects linked to the economy of knowledge.
Objectives:
– To promote and increase the technological base of the provincial productive matrix.
– To strengthen the innovation and competitivity through new processing ways that articulate the public, private, scientist fields.
– To contribute to the balanced and sustainable development of the province, by incentivizing and processing public-private actions that promote innovation, added value, the addition of technology and the articulation of technological offer and demand of companies and scientist-technological institutions.
Regional Center of Technological Education (CERET)
Created in 1997, the CERET has incorporated new technologies to different fields of human jobs.
Objeto:
– To develop activities fitted within the framework of the National Plan of Technological Education, by attending to a agroindustrial integrated profile.
– To design, organize, coordinate and evaluate programs and training projects.
– To generate a transfer of technology and services quality.
It possesses an area of intensive productions, regarding this type of productions, adapted to the development of the horticultural activity in La Pampa. It also owns a dairy area where an experimental plant and a milk analysis laboratory with the latest technology for quality standards are being developed.
Irrigated areas
In the Southeast of the province of La Pampa, a water exploitment system of the Río Colorado was designed that counts with an important irrigation area where there are developed different types of crops.The area under risk includes the towns of Colonia 25 de Mayo, La Adela, Gobernador Duval and Casa de Piedra. It has become an excellent fodder zone of alfalfa, cereal, fruit, vine plantation, horticulture and forest.
The evolution of the distinct irrigation area in 2019 went up 55% compared to the previous year, going from 8.039 hectare to 12.495 hectare. Nowadays, 240 families are working there.
Viticulture
The vineyards located in Casa de Piedra, with its different varietals, have accomplished a significant relevance because of its quality, which has impulsed the settlement of private companies already acclaimed in both national and international markets, such as “Catena Zapata” and “Familia Cassone”.
This area has been strongly impulsed by the Provincial Entity of Rio Colorado in the vine production, and also in nuts and horticulture, it possesses a great potential for the area to become in the viticulture terminal by excellence of La Pampa. By employing grapes coming from the Entity, the Bodega Quietud is located in Santa Rosa and cultivates over 10 varieties that have been prizewinning at national and international levels. Also, the Bodega Lejanía can be found in General Acha and specializes in handmade elaboration.
These vineries have a great potential for development and expansion, and of placing their products in the international market without neglecting the supply in the Pampean market.
The area of Colonia 25 de Mayo belonging to the region of High Valley of Río Colorado also possesses a great possibility of exploitation for the vine production. Since 2001, the Bodega del Desierto has been settled there with 140 hectare of vineries and a total production that reaches the 500 mil litres. Specialized in the elaboration of high range wines, they use top technology and take advantage of the unique traits of this viticulture area, such as the arid weather, thermal space and strong winds.
